Canada is continually conducting the bi-monthly PNP draws & they will resume the CEC & FSWP invitations in early July.
On 11th May, Canada issued invitations for 545 Express Entry applicants so they could apply for permanent residence. The invited applicants had already received the nomination from the Provincial Nominee Program & had a minimum 753 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score.
No doubt, the minimum score was a little bit higher because the applicants of Express Entry already get automatic 600 points added to their score whenever they are getting a provincial nomination. If they haven’t received the nomination, then the lowest-scoring applicants will have 172 base points.
For the express entry draw, the Canadian Government set the tie-breaking rule on 15th December 2021. Like, if applicants have the lowest eligible score and they had submitted profiles into the Express Entry pool before this date.
In the last round of the Invitation (IRCC), Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada also issued the Invitation for the 829 PNP applicants with a minimum score of 772.
What is Express Entry?
Express Entry has become one of the most popular applicant management systems for the three popular immigration programs in Canada the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class & the Federal Skilled Trades Program.
Express Entry totally depends on the point-based system only that is CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System), to rank the profiles of the applicants.
If you are a top-performing applicant, then you can get the Invitation to Apply (ITA) & after that, you will be able to apply for permanent residency. This has become one of the great paths that will help you in getting permanent residency in Canada in a limited time.
If you are applying, then the IRCC officer will review the application carefully & will make the decision. You will have to also complete the biometric related verification & also attend the interview, where you will have to give an answer to a few questions and documents also.
If your application is already getting the approval, then IRCC automatically issues the specific confirmation of the Permanent Residence. Approved permanent applicants can complete further landing process.
If they are already outside Canada, they will also have access to pre-arrival services that are proven to be great that assist them with the first step of settling in a country like Canada.
