Recently there have been changes in the Qatar travel and return policy. The new guidelines will be applicable from 28th February 2022. Who all need to book a hotel for quarantine?

If the PCR test result is positive, the traveler will have to quarantine himself.
These were the requirements before 28th February, which have changed now. The Qatari residents will not require any PCR test before arrival unless they are arriving from a country that is on the ‘red list’ and they are not vaccinated. All others travelers will require a PCR test within 48 hours of the flight’s departure time. - The airline canceled the flight or changed the flight timings.
- A positive PCR test, supported with documentary evidence that prevented traveling.
- Quarantine exemption due to changes in rules upon entering into Qatar.
- Changes in rules of entry into Qatar which materially affected your booking.
The bottom line is that you need to know your quarantine requirements before you make any hotel bookings for quarantine. Later on, making changes could be problematic.
